ARC Team!

I need your help!

As a first time author I need your help, so thank you from the bottom of my heart for offering it! I’m Petra Palerno and I’m here to write fantasy romance stories with slow burn and well-earned spice. I’m happy to have you here with me!

I’m currently looking for ARC readers for my kindle unlimited serial, The Dropped Stitch. This might be a bit different if you’ve done ARC for standalone novels so let me me break down what I had in mind for what that would entail on your end.

As part of the ARC team you’ll get:

Free copies of the Dropped Stitch Parts One, Two and Three.

Part one is already out on Amazon (and free on kindle unlimited).

Part two should be finished sometime in August.

Part three is slated to be finished around October.

As a first-time author, I need your help! I’m hoping that I can keep my ARC team small and tight-knit throughout my writing career and really want to foster relationships with my readers. In exchange for my free books, I’d love feedback, and reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. If you review books elsewhere I’d love to see your tiktok/blog/insta reviews as well— Goodreads and Amazon are the only required reviews for being on the ARC team though, and you must review on both platforms within 30 days of receiving your copy of the book. I want honesty, even though it might be hard to hear, and appreciate ARC team members that can give constructive criticism well.

Some Things to note about The Dropped Stitch.

I have trigger warnings listed here. As well as with a QR code in the book. If you’re concerned about a specific trigger listed please let me know and I will do my best to either tell you what parts you can skip, or if it’s too integral to the story be up front with you that we might not be a good fit.

While the spice ramps up in parts two and three, part one does not include a ton of spice. It does include lots of fun sexual tension. This story is a slow burn, so I promise the spice is well earned.

While I don’t expect everyone will be able to review all three sections, I’d love it if you could. I’m only requiring part one to be reviewed at this time. If you’d like to stick around for the other parts as well please let me know! Please keep in mind that because this is a serialized story parts one and two will end in a cliffhanger or to be continued type endings.
